Log into your HELM control panel.
Click the domains icon from the user’s menu and select the domain from the list.
Under the Domain Menu, click the FTP Accounts icon.
Add a new FTP account with the desired user name and password you want to use to enter the protected section of your site.
Choose the folder that should be protected under “FTP Folder”.
Leave only the “Can Read From Folder” option checked.
Uncheck the “Can Write to Folder” option, unless you also want to grant these users write access to the folder.
Click Save to add the user account.
